okay - here in Maryland, simply go to the Department of Assessment and Taxation and you can look up any property in the state. When I go to NJ state website and go to the Treasury section, I can search "abanded property records" but that's it. Does anyone know NJ's state website to search property records?

more than likely you should go to the county website and look for the information you seek.

as a follow-up, i found the information at the county's website. apparently, in NJ, you need to go to the county websites to obtain public records.
