Pros/Cons: 30 Year Old Aluminum Siding...what Should I Do?
I have gold/yellow/urine colored siding on my 110 year old house.
Should I...
scrap aluminum for almost $1000 and put up vinyl siding?
or paint the aluminum the color I would do the vinyl?
The one Con I thought of is if I rip down the aluminum, you never know what you will find...more expenses...
or would vinyl add more value when I sell it?

If the aluminum is in good shape just clean and paint it. It will only cost a few hundred. If you properly clean and prime the aluminum it should last a good 20 - 30 years.
I have done this with some of mine and they come out looking great.
If the aluminum is all dented up of coming down then you would have to make the call.
