GREAT Question. I have been looking all over the place for this type of information. They have to have some sort of Data on deatails like that. Census, Covernment?
Any tips, ideas or even better phone numbers or website are more than welcome
It might also help to know where you are from if you are looking for rents in a specific area. Suggest you consider updating your personal information to include your state.
Meanwhile, try this HUD Section 8 Fair Market Rents[ Edited by DaveT on Date 02/01/2003 ]
Not sure if this helps but in Chicago I look at a couple of newspapers. The web sites are user friendly and allow you to input the zip cose and number of bedrooms and will bring up everything offered for rent in that area. Maybe your area has a similar paper.

Classifieds in your local newspaper or a good realtor. I also do some research in the little apartment type guide mags.
