How To Clean Out Dryer Vent?
My gas dryer quit heating - the repairman said a fuse was blown which usually happens when the vent is clogged. The vent goes thru the attic and out the roof. How do I clean one out? Can I get a brush on a pole at Home Depot, or do I just stick a shop vac with a long hose extension down there from the roof?
When we bought the house, the inspector required that the dryer be vented upwards, b/c it was previously being vented into the garage which is not up to code. The dryer is not near any exterior walls.
