Eviction Process
i have been having a lot of trouble with my tenants lately with domestic violence. the cops have had to be called repeated times. i have never gone through the eviction process before and was wondering how to start it since it is not for non payment of rent. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
The first thing that you need to do is look at your lease and determine if they broke any of your conditions (quiet enjoyment, etc.). Next, go to your courthouse and get your area specific requirements. You will need to give them notification, wait a specified amount of time, etc. I have evicted one tenant for non-payment and I was pleased with the speed of the process, once the process began (after notification period, etc.)

This can be tough. You have to determine what they violated in the lease and be able to prove it. Depending on how your lease is set up...you may be able to terminate it with 30 days notice. I would suggest consulting an attorney in this case.
