Credit Checks

What companies do you guys use to run credit checks? I did a search for Tenant screening companies and came up with tons of credit checking companies. Some of these kinda look shady so I was wondering if anyone can recommend a reputable service with reliable results.

I use Citicredit Bureau at www.Citicredit.net. They ask a few questions to get you set up and you have to send proof that you own the properties ( to verify you are a landlord) and they will have you able to check tenants credit, rental history, evictions and criminal records if you want to know all that. They are easy to work with and you can fax all the info they need to get started.

what about www.annualcreditreport.com with the tenat. that way it is free and they dont get hit with a inquiry. It doesnt include a score, but wouldnt payent history and debt ratio be the only important factors?

Another example showing that good credit does not make a good tenant...
What were you saying about not using your gut feeling?

    or

    National Tenant Network
