Prop Bot Questions

When I try to search specific State or town, I get all kinds of states etc.

Are these listings on Prop Bot MLS, FSBO, off market, or a mix?

How will I be notified when I get a reply to this post?

    >>>>>How will I be notified when I get a reply to this post?<<<<

"....When we are done typing in our selection into text box, you can choose to get replies to your topic emailed back to you. They are sent to you by default. After choosing to get the replies emailed to you, click Submit to post your topic. "

    From the Forum Tutorial.

    See my PM to you.

We used to not charge for the website. But advertisements along will not pay for development to continue the website.

We are managing 230,000+ members and 2.2 million property listings.

Thus the reason for having to charge.

    hi Joel,

Had some computer problems here, so sorry fro the delay.

Thank you very much for the PM and the input.

Is there a way of being notified by e-mail when a post is replied to?

I am finding that I must log in and go to my TCI and manually look at all my posts for replies.

    REI-CA-

Although you think you want this, you most likely will not want it if you participate much.

Once upon a time, TCI notified you whenever a post was made in a thread you participated in. For those of us who participate regularly, this meant that every day we had a page of notifications in our inbox- quite annoying. In fact, it discouraged participation since important e-mails were often lost in the flood of notices.

Currently you are notified when someone responds to a topic you initiate. Perhaps a button to be notified of new posts in a topic would be useful- I seem to recall this option for a while. But the notifications were stopped due to complaints from regular participants.

Provide relevant content. search on SEO placement and run some of the free tools. E.g. http://www.sitesolutions.com/analysis.asp?F=Form Page down and put in your site and keyword(s). Then make all your red problems turn to green by following the recommendations.

You can include more keywords without altering the look of your page, and put in an abundance of links also. Just use white text on a white background (or blue on blue, etc.) and make use of borders and empty space!

I think the question, rather than "Can I?", is more "Do I want to?".

First of all, is there actually going to be a profit from this house? In general, property values have been going down, especially in Florida.

But more to the point, do you really want to continue your involvement with this person? All it will lead to is more pain and anger between you. If it were me, I would just walk, and be happy to be done with it, no matter what the "cost". Almost everything you paid in went to interest anyway. But you are going to have to balance the cost/benefit equation yourself and decide if it is worth the emotional price you will pay.

    NewKid,

Profanity is certainly not allowed on this board, albeit spelled out or abbreviated.

The Moderators on this board have enough to do with watching out for the Board Hustlers and such without having to look after the children who think using profanity makes them look grown up.

We certainly go aways back on this board and your excellent posts helping posters here is appreciated by all. The one thing I personally will not let happen is seeing the gutter mouths cause problems with any poster, when it is brought to my attention..

if the person is a repeat offended, then delete, otherwise edit the post to "^$$%$^%", and the message would be convened.

I find it very frustrating to have posts silently deleted.

    thanks.

I submitted a trouble ticket thru "feedback".

  • joel18th July, 2008

I did not receive any messages through feedback. However you should be receiving emails. We had a database issue over this past week. Email was not affected.

I am using our email system exclusively. If you want you can send me a PM with your issue.
