Project Proforma & Valuation

Out of all the forums hopefully this is the best place to post...



I was wondering if any body would like to compare their Proforma Model and valuation techniques privately. I have my bachelors in finance with an emphasis in Real Estate and currently work for a large land developer. I am a professional Land Acquisitions Manager that would like to rehab a short sale house on the side. I have a lot of experience finding good properties and underwriting, but am unfamilier with the accounting and law side. My good friend is a project manager so he is good with the rehab and etc.



I have developed an intriquet model so far, but am a little unsure of tax implications and the best way to save money, besides a 1031. For example, I have to pay off equity partners. Can I deduct taxes first then pay them off or how does all that work.



My hope is to compare models with someone to make both of ours better.
