Has anyone used private money to fund their commercial deals? I am looking into doing this and am wondering the best way to find these people. thanks Mike
private money is a large source of commercial loans. the easiest way is to find a broker who will do the work for you. You can do it the hard way and find a private lender yourself but it is not easy and doing all the work (i.e. paperwork, business plan if needed, being able to see the difference between a good deal and a bad deal. if you need more help send me a email at **Please See My Profile**
I read about two big time re investors( I forgot their names) But each of them used one method and both made big money. The basic thing is what you like to do . Do you like working in the environment of excitement and pressure of finding more & more properties and buying and selling or do you like excitement and stress of getting a good tenant and getting another tenant messing up your property costing you money. Because in either case you will find people who made money and who lost money. Good luck
My suggestion would be to cruise these forums, go to your local library to chack out some books on rei and then order a couple $9.95 30-day money back gaurantee real estate courses. Learn and learn, then learn some more. The last thing you want to happen is to find a motivated seller only to not be in a positoin to solve their problem. Wealth is not everything, as I have stated before. Combine wealth with freedom, though, and you have a foundation for happiness. Just my personal opinion. Good luck to you!
