Prices On Self Storage

Hey All,

Does anyone have any recent square foot prices for self storage. Im not worried about the concrete slab.....just the building itself.

Any manufactures would be appreciated.

You can pm with the info.

Thanks

I think part of it must be regional. Here in Central Michigan, the only wood framed structures I've seen are on older buildings. Nothing new is built that way for two reasons; construction techniques (and speed), and cost. PT lumber, particularly the newer types, are very expensive, and pole-barn style buildings generally take longer than commercial steel. That being said, I priced Trachte buildings last year (before the huge rise in steel prices), and we were basically looking at a turnkey package price of about 27K for a 36 unit building. Does that help?

    Hey Jason,

I have contacted several companies......have not heard from one yet.........I guess they must not need the business.

I was looking for at sq. foot price taking into consideration of the increase of steel prices.

I will continue to contact more companies

Square foot for the building itself, or for labor, permits, zoning, etc., etc., etc?

    Hey Jason,

Installing (material & labor) the building from the foundation I provide. I take care of soft money cost....permits, zoning, etc.....
