preforeclosures
OK - first of all this icon thing says I am up to a "Junior Investor" it think i just have more questions then most.
Anyway, I went to the courthouse and they put me in front of a computer and said it is all in there. - They were not that helpfull. They kept pointing me at this sheriffs deed stuff - as I read the documents, they appeared to be the foreclosure giving deed back to the bank- obviously this is later in the process then I am looking for.
then I looked up the "Lis Pendens". If this is the warning before forclosure, then why were the less then half of that of the sheriffs deeds? that was my first clue this might be wrong. As I read these document they all appeared to be a result of lawsuits (you didn't pay the builder, etc)
Well then the office closed - I hope to head back there monday, but I am looking for direction -
Do investor make a buck of the tax lien people? all i ever hear is about the bank foreclosures.
If it matters, I am in Washtenaw County Michigan.
Thanks
Scott
Hi,
Many questions to the process of tax liens as well as tax deeds can be answered for free @ www.taxsales.com
It addresses the procedures in all 50 states and also the US territories. A gold mine for these types of investments.
Thanks for the site about tax liens, but I am still looking for what I might have done wrong looking for preforeclosures.
Thanks
