    Hi Choyawise,

Welcome to the fold! This is a great forum where you'll be able to get insightful, helpful, and invaluable information. The gurus, here, are really hands-on and accessible.

This is a reply I posted for another newcomer:

Short sales are about understanding the process and working it through. There's a lot of work involved in the process, especially if the mortgage is financed by FHA.

I STRONGLY suggest that you READ through the MESSAGE ARCHIVES of the "Pre-foreclosure/Short Sale Forum" here at TCI. It is really excellent.
EVERYTHING you need to know to successfully do short sales & foreclosures can be found in this forum. It's a great... quick... and easy way to get up the curve on short sales and foreclosure. Your time will be well spent doing this!

Standout gurus for this forum are Dawn Bent-Twyford, Sharon Restrepo, and TheShortSalesPro (who runs his own forum for short sales). Their expertise is invaluable, what they share about their experiences is priceless!

Here are the links to Dawn & Sharon's courses:

    The Short Sales Pro's course

I hope this is helpful. And good luck with your real estate investing!

    Dmarketing,

Thanks for your prompt response. I'm used to not getting a response at all (at other forums). I'm just now getting back to the site. I will be following the forum more closely and will check into those links you posted. Appreciate it.

    Choyawise
