Plat/deed Change Condo To..............
Due to FHA restrictions for condo financing I need to change the deed to a condo to a villa, townhome, or duplex. It was built in 1989, does have 1 (condo) unit attached to it so a common wall is shared by another owner, all other units on the street are either duplexes owned by investors, apartments or single family homes. No association fees or dues are paid to anyone. The county courthouse was contacted for info and it was suggested to contact a RE attorney. Has anyone been successful as this?
I am aware that I will have to get the adjacent owner involved. What are Cc&Rs?
