Was it on a leash? On your property? Call the news media about cops not doing job when it comes to a dangerous dog. What if it was a little kid. I am a dog lover have 2. Even have had a Rottie but it is a matter of taking good care of your dog. The problem we have had around here is cops taken the dogs to fast from owners.

Yes. If it is not leashed you should immediately call Animal Protection. Even if was leashed and on your property, call them. Have them come out and evaluate the situation.

One more thing I would do. I would write a very nice letter to the owner of the property this tenant lives at. Make it very nice "I am not sure you are aware that your tenant has what is legally termed a vicious animal so I wanted to make you aware of it. Additonally, their dog frequently wanders onto my property. I have placed complaints with the police and I have called Animal Protection but in fairness to you, I wanted to make sure you are aware of the situation. There have been numerous lawsuites within "name of city" and I am sure you want to avoid any legal ramifications having a vicious animal might lead to"

Something like this. If you make it non-threatening, you might just see that dog or better yet, the tenant go away.

    THANKYOU ALL SO MUCH

i am the owner and just want to be respected for my leases and rule so I can keep good tenants. the law should allow for removal at my request. im in charge not my tenants. so how do we make this happen.
