Pending Contract Upon Inspection
I have a house under contract and went for inspection to findout it needs a new roof. I have an 'as is' addendum. The sellers signed a real property disclosure stating not prior water damage or intrusion. There are evident signs of concealment were water has come in on ceilings. Do I have any recourse in negotiating a lower sale price or threating to have my expenses reimbursed for things such as inspections rate lock, and also having to move since we sold our existing house with the intentions of moving into pending home. Or last resort put a Lis pendens/ lien on the property. :-o
