I have a BA II Plus ...
My question is ....
I need to back out princpal payments for the first year on a loan of 3000000
pv= 3000000
i/y = 6
n=360
fv= 0
pmts= -17986.... x 12 mo = 215838....
so i want to back out or seperate amount payed on principal AND interest payed or will pay for the 1st year ....
I looked in the book and could not find it... ?
I'm sore most are usin good ole HP 12c
i would use it but why start over......

Do you have a spreadsheet program? Excel and probably others have these variables and you can work it out that way. Good luck.
Go to microsofts office template gallery. They have a spreadsheet for ammoratization (under finance or business) for excel.
