Paid Charge-Offs, But Household And Capital One Lied...
We settled and paid off both accounts. Now, both refuse to get rid of the charge-offs from our credit report. We are livid, because we told them we would not settle unless the charge-off was eliminated. What can we do now?

If you didn't get it in writing, all you can do is write nutcase letters to the companies, then follow up with bureau disputes (try "not mine" 30 days later or so.
Typically the nutcase letter scares 'em into not responding to your disputes. Bingo - chargeoff TLs vanish.
Heck, all I have to do is pretend to be a nutcase? Right now, they have made me one. I will play the part well. Can you please explain what you meant by that though. Right now, the CB's are not taking anymore of my disputes, saying they are frivolous.
