Does anyone know how tax sales work in Ohio? Specifically Montgomery County?
I know Ohio forecloses on homes for deliquent taxes. I don't believe there is any redemption period. The min bid is the amount of taxes due.
I spoke to the county treasurer's office and they said if you buy the house at the sheriff sale then it is yours right then and there. What if someone is living there? Do you have to evict or just get sheriff to go out and remove them?
