NYC Saturation: Newbie Seeks Advice.
Hello everyone. I am seeking to invest in real estate here in NYC. I have been watching the market here and from what I see its a sellers market. If not termed correct, I mean HIGH PRICED SALES. The city already does not auction tax delinquencies to the public and there are so many investors at bank foreclosure auctions. Agents are tight on giving(both ends) information. Everyone has a stop foreclosure ad and "we buy houses all cash". Would some one please help me/ advise me about getting into this seemingly saturated market? Whats worst for me is that my credit score is 610 and I'm on welfare! My friends tell me that I'm crazy for trying to invest with nothing going for myself, but I am determined to make it out of poverty! I've spent money on Carlton Sheets, Russ Whitney, Robert Allen, and one or two others plus ink cartidge to print out info from sites like this. I paid $500 in administrative costs for a company to link me to capital investors and assist me in structuring a business plan for my REI. I need some serious advice! My mother lent me the money for this service and time is ticking.
p. s. I love this site and I love the networking potential and the advice and exserience shared! Thanks All!! :-D
