Notice Of Trustee Sale
Hello,
First post here. Thought I'd start blasting a few questions out.
I have been recently looking at the notice of trustee sales here in San Diego and found a couple that looking interesting to me. Wondering if I am on the right track in looking for possible deals in RE. If so, what would be next to do? ie: contacting owner, finding out more info about the properties such as liens and such, finding out if lis pendens put on property, etc.
Also, I was thinking of going to a few upcoming court sales just to see what goes on there too. Maybe talk to some folks attending.
Are the minimum bids for these sales usually listed correctly in the notices? I am looking at one property with a min bid of 300k, but am pretty sure it would sell for much much more if put on the market here. Must have some issue lingering upon it, but don't know what it could be. Liens?
thanks for any replies in advance,
reekingm

Some invstors just knock on the door of those being foreclosed on and offer to buy the property for exactly what they owe.
Some people will actually do this. Some won't talk to you at all
thanks,
I tried that the other day and nobody lives in the house. It is completely empty.
I guess I will just go to the auction and see what happens to it.
thanks,

Hello,
Just an update. I went to the courthouse and the one I was interested in was postponed due to mutual agreement.
Actually there were about 15 properties total and all of them were either postponed or cancelled.
reekingm,
Nice to see another fellow San Diegan has made there way to the www.creativeinvestor.com, welcome. You are on the right track with pre-foreclosure, foreclosure, and REO properties as we are at the top of the cycle in our area. If you need a helping hand, want to network or bird dog, email me. Good Luck.
