Note Selling Process

I located about 20 notes today at the courthouse held by private lenders. All notes were from the year 2001. Two questions:
1. Should I simply call the beneficiaries of these notes, and ask if they want to sell (if they still hold them), or should I do more investigation first.

2. If I were to locate someone interested in selling, what info. do I need to gather to buy the note and then resell it?

I would not buy it unless you are looking long term. If someone wants to sell their note, get their info and get it to a mortgage note investor. He will make an offer and you deduct what you want your fee to be and present the balance to the seller. PM me if you need help.

Contact me and I will get you a note intake worksheet with all of the required information you will need to get a price on a note.
