I can barely take care of myself. I'm totally flying by the seat of my pants.
So, I find a bird dog, trained him a little, and bamo, The guy brings back a signed deed.
He's so fired up, the next day he was just going door to door for 2 hours. ( thats a long time in so. Florida in Sept. Hell' it nearly killed John (lv) and that was only August.) ( John's doctor said the "up-size" at Mc Donalds helped too.)
Well guys it burns my ass to say it but, Johns book works.
Once you do the paperwork once, its easy.
If you have to sell this to someone, they aren't motivated!!!!
Dump and run. Find the next one. sign them up, and go to the next one.
If you sign up ONE A MONTH, its approx. $180,000.00 a year ( $15,000.00 x 12 months)
Even some of my friends could pull that off.
Read,reread,sleep,wake up and go to war.....
Remember guys, I still have a day job. ( true, I screw off all day on the internet, but I'm still there..)
Go To War........... Make Some Damm MONEY.........take no prisoners..........

My hats off to you for ther positive push on Johns' book. I just ordered Johns " SUB TO " book and I can't wait until I recieve the book.
Im new to REI and right now im struggling with my current partners. I read one of Johns post and he mentioned " SUB TO " was good for beginners, so I decided to purchase the book. I read alot of posts and so far when it comes to John , they are always positive.
Hopefully when I recieve the book , I would be able to learn quick so I can go on my own and be successful like most of the PROS here.

I can second that. I have John's book and I took the Subject To Purchases Online Class. It took me 9 days to do my first deal and I'm going to net over 50K on my first deal!!!!! And once you do your first deal you will understand that you don't have to deal with anyone who doesn't want to deal with you. I talked to a lot of people before I did the deal, but when I found these sellers, I couldn't believe how easily things went. I only deal with people who want to deal with me and I don't put up with crap that some sellers will give you. You'll love the book and consider the online class too.

Your going to get even more excited when you find out why sub to's will make you a lot of money, more than you could dream of, when you find out how to use Langley, Fort Eustis (incorrect spelling I think), and all the other bases in that area. I went to Hampton and wish I knew about this while I was in college. good luck.

What method did you get the sellers to contact you and get a deal in 9 days? Ad in the paper, bandit signs, postcards?
I'm using all 3 plus car signs and business cards. but that deal came from a bandit sign. I get most of my calls from the signs, but you should use at least 5 methods. Put yourself out there and you'll be suprised what you get back. A lady called me from a business card I left and asked me if I wanted to advertise in her church program book. 750 people will be at that event. The ad will cost me 50 bucks. Use different methods to get the most results, and then determine what you like best.

I agree when you mentioned the bases because an REI has to win the sellers/ buyers trust.
I believe I have an advantage because im in the service and I know people be trying to sell and buy all the time because of transfering to a new duty station.
Also, I have people in the Wellington area { just in case you need a Bird Dog close to that area } thats interested in REI. Just let me know.

Very nice deal way to go.
Once we learn how to let the seller sell us on the deal, then we determine whether we want the deal or not.
We are the one's who say yea or nay to the deal not the sellers. We don't have to take any guff it is always our ball game, however if we do decide to take the deal it will be a win/win for everyone.

I agree $Cash$. I talked to a seller last night on the phone and from the start, he was a real....you know what. I flat out told him, "I don't like your attitude, I'm trying to help you out and I don't think we can do business. Your the one behind in payments and before I can offer you any solutions, your giving me hell. Good luck selling your house and when it doesn't sell, give me a call and maybe we can work something out." Next time I won't be so nice.
