    hey dude

i suggest you take a look at your county court house and visit the county assessors office. thats where i usually find my list of preforclosurees. course it may be different in GA, let me know how it goes, i plan on moving down there in a month or two.

I am not aware of a NOD list in GA, the first notification is found in the the newspaper and posted four consecutive weeks.

    Hi Southside,

In the Atlanta metro 13 county area you can subscribe to The Atlanta Forclosure Report published by EquiSystems LLC. Their site is www equisystems com

If that got zapped pm me and I'll send you the link.

    Good Luck!

Thanks for your replies. I am trying to market before the actual foreclosure process begins, at the first sign of default.

    hello southside,
Is your state Judicial or Power of Sale? That is the first thing to determine and from there you can map out your strategy for locating pre-foreclosure information. You as an investor need to know the state statutes for your own information and to insure you are not over stepping any bounds. You can find the State Statutes in the County Law Library and the clerk there should be able to help you find the info you are looking for. Good luck

You may also contact local Foreclosure Attorneys for this info.[ Edited by pejames on Date 01/14/2004 ]
