Newbie Question About "delinquent" Taxes.

I know very little about tax sales and delinquent taxes, however-- When searching county tax records, I found 2 houses in my neighborhood that show 2003 taxes are delinquent. How do I find out the status of these houses concerning tax liens or certificates? Is there a possibility that I could pay their taxes for an option to buy? rolleyes

You said: I know if you buy in the tax auction you don't need to worry about the mortgage, because it got wipe

    This is not correct!

You will find that many are able to resolve their financial dilemma the first or even the second time, but most never learn how to manage finances so they get into trouble yet again.

It's just a numbers game, if you play the numbers long enough you can come out a winner.

Look at it this way, if you market your self you let others know what you do, if you do not market your self no one will know what you do.

Thank you JohnMicheal for your reply.

I have been ask the tax collectors, they said all mortgages and lien are been taking care, if there are government liens they will post notify investors, you said it may not be true, it that apply to difference county may have difference rule, that is why I always ask the questions from the tax collectors.

I don't really think the letter writing will work, you said it is numbers game, maybe the response rate very low.

I have brought 4 pieces of lands, and I sold 3 pieces in ebay with a monthly payment over $600 a month for 5 years, and the other sold it cash with a realtor for $25,000, I am not much marketing myself, and I have a line of buyers waiting to buy some of my land, this is very fun business to be in, and it takes a lot of education and patient will payoff profitly.

This is wonderful board here for helping each other, I am belong to Roy 's student @Taxsales.com, 4 years ago, he is truly a great teacher.
