Newbie Needs Help
hello all,
I am new to the rei scene and i need some advise.
The first thing that i need to know is , do I need to find a property first of financing, just to say my credit is poor and I don't have a lot of money.
I'm not afraid to get my feet wet but i need advice so i can swim without drowning.

Well, the first thing you probably need to do is decide what kind of REI you want to do. Buy and hold (rent), buy at wholesale prices and resell with moderate markup, buy properties in need of rehab, etc.
If you start with wholesaling (see the wholesaling forum) you can get started without having a lot of money or you can also start by being a bird dog for others while learning the ropes.
Somewhere along the line, you will also need to focus on fixing your poor credit. There's a forum here for credit repair too.

I agree with the previous poster in that you need to find your area of concentration.
I would bird dog for an investor that would agree to allow you to stick around and learn from start to finish. This is one of the greatest ways to learn and become confident that you can do deals on your own. Good Luck.
