New To Foreclosures In NJ
Everyone has to start somewhere right? I live near Newark airport in NJ and have been looking at getting into foreclosures partly to quit renting up here ( I own a house in fla that I rent) and of course to make money
I have read a few books and have quite some book knowledge but nothing is like real world experience soooo..... I was wondering if there is anyone out there that could help show me the ropes here in NJ.
Its not like there is a shortage of properties in NJ and any one that is a good investor probably has more leads then time or money.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am also from Elizabeth, NJ and I am looking for the same type of information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Good to see that you are seeking knowledge in the industry.
Looks like you are seeking someone to walk you through the process of real estate investing and I will tell you that they are hard to come by without a price.
I would suggest going to TCI's product page and search the mentoring area.
I would join an investment group in your area.
Go to a few foreclosure sales in your area to network with.
In this process you may find favor with an investor who will take you under their wing and show you the ropes.
This process really works as I am mentoring 3 new investors now that found favor with me simply because every time I went to a foreclosure sale their they were all 3 in my face asking questions, when I go to the court house there they were yet again, when I went to the investor meeting yet again the 3 were their. So I gave in now they go with me on my deals learning along the way.
I simply teach them at no charge because of their drive and in your face approach and this is not the norm as most pay large fee's for me to mentor them.
Become an in your face seeker of knowledge as these 3 are and you will find that mentor.
John Locke has a great ebook about bird-dogging and would be a great 1st step for you.
