The Triad has a new veterinarian clinic under construction for a doctor with a bi-coastal practice.
Amy Randall, a veteran dermatologist who practices at a facility in the Triad as well as another in Oregon, is building an Animal Allergy and Ear Clinic at 2311 Fleming Road in Greensboro. Carl Essa of Essa Commercial Realty has been hired as a fee-based developer and Fourth Elm Construction of Kernersville is the general contractor.
Site work is underway on the 6,978 square foot building on .7 acres adjacent to the northwest side of Cardinal Village, which includes a Greensboro ABC store, just north of the intersection of Fleming and Inman roads. The Cardinal by Pete Dye, an upscale, semi-private golf club owned by McConnell Golf, is just north.
NCITY, an LLC managed by Randall and her sister, Carla Thomas, bought the land for $215,000 in February, according to Guilford County records.
Animal Allergy and Ear Clinic won't be the only vet specialist practice at the facility. Essa told Triad Business Journal that Greensboro veterinarian ophthalmologist Kelly Sigle, will lease space for her All About Eyes practice. A third suite will remain a vacant shell.
