i am also a want to be investor in NY but at this time with a little twist. I am now selling my current home and looking for one in a better school district at a below market price. this house will be for me to live in for about two years in order to earn the residential status then flip. From reading this web site, I see that I can work with a bird dog. If any of you out there interested, let me know.
