Never Seeing The Property

Hello everyone,
I have been researching real estate investing for some time now and i have heard about some investors buying and selling houses without going to look at the property. Has anyone else heard of this technique? Has anyone been successful?

I think generally wholesalers especially bulk ones do not ever wee the property and some buyers buy from photos or blind

I've done it before, I did have an inspector go and do a quick look but I closed on three duplexes without seeing the insides, not the brightest thing but it worked out OK.

Ive bought at least 100 properties with out seeing them. All I needed was a bedroom count, what town, type of heating, and the price. After my offer was accepted then I would go take a look to see what I bought. I would say ive done at least 50 that I bought and sold and had never seen the property to this day. (by the way all the properties were in the same county in NJ where I had lived)

I do agree with JohnMichael though, there is definitely only certain situations where this makes sense and I do not recommend many people doing it. In my situation there were just so many properties coming through at once, I simply did not have the time to scout them all out. On top of that everything was inside one county. Which I knew inside and out and there was a certain safety in the amount of properties being bought.
