Need To Get Rid Of One MH And Move Another

confused

I have a mobile home that needs to be demolished in Bremerton, WA. This home is real old. Not sure if it would be towable or not.

I have a second mobile home that I would like to put in its place.

Any ideas what would be the cheapest way to do this? I do not have a lot of money.

I would suspect you need to allow 3,000-5,000 (check local prices) to hire someone come in tear down and haul off the debris. Some states have laws (Georgia does) that prevents you being being able to move a MH after so many years. We had a park owner close by who offered to give away all the old MH 60's 70's models. People showed up to claim them all they had to do was move them. But the park owner did not know was DOT would not approve permits to move them. So the people took anything of value out of them, gutted them and left the park owner with about $90,000 in clean up bills. If it sits on land sell it as a package and let the new owner worry with moving it. If you just want to keep the land ask a few contractors for estimates on cost to remove debris and don't pay them until the lot is clean.
