Need To Convert Lease-Option "K" To Land "K" (w/12 Mos. Of Seasoning) So Bank As A Refi

What a dousy on this one!! Mortgage Co. originally said they could treat my L/O as a refiance but, now the underwriting Dept. says they need a separate Land Contract with the same dates as my L/O "K" for seasoning purposes. Even if I were to back date a new Land "K," (which I'm not sure I can do) I couldn't get it notarized now 2004 with a necessaryt 2003 date. And of course, without the "K" being notarized I can't record it with the Recorder of Deeds. Any suggestions...HELP!!! Where are you Option King?!!

Find another mortgage company. They probably want a bigger commission. A reputable mortgage broker will not ask you to back-date anything. That is highly illegal.

It sounds like your Mortgage Co. is trying to get you to commit loan fraud. I hope you don't do it.

I'm not a lawyer and am not giving you legal advice. But if you have to falsify documents, it sounds like step one to getting some free housing with an iron bar view.
