Need RE Attorney In Dallas,TX
We just had our first meeting w/ a supposed "RE attorney" in Dallas, TX. We've already completed a few Lease Option transactions w/ no attorney thus far. Now that we have funds available, we decided that we needed to invest in the legal aspect of our company and our transactions.
The attorney immediately found fault with virtually everything that we have been doing. Big surprise, huh? I've read the posts and knew to expect an inexperienced attorney to claim that we were wrong if he didn't understand what we were doing.
Long story, short...we need another one. I refuse to spend my time trying to justify my personal RE knowledge (albeit, limited) and my chosen field to an attorney that should be giving ME the answers! lol
Do any of you have a recommendation on lawyers in the dallas/ft worth area that already have creative RE experience, preferrably with lease options? Thanks a bunch!
Side note...our knowledge and experience thus far have come straight from this site and fellow investors. We've used the same forms, methods, etc as the L/O guru's on TCI. We've purchased the courses, etc. Just wanted you to know that we were in fact dealing with an inexperienced attorney...not doing things wrong overall.
