Need Mentor - Conti&Finkel Or Wendy Patton?
G'day all and thanks for reading my first post.
I have recently arrived from Australia, and will be living in the US (Seattle) for 3 years as my wife has a contract here.
L/O is not really heard of in Australia, but I am very interested in pursuing a career as an investor using this technique.
I have read 2 of Conti/Finkels books, but believe i need some more hands on experience like a seminar or a degree of mentoring to assist me in "jumping in"
Which seminar/mentor would you guys suggest: Conti/Finkel, Wendy Patton or others.
Thanks again guys. I just dont want to jump in with a "guru" whom will lead me up the garden path.
Cheers

Mentoring is expensive. Get a Course, study it, and you may not need Mentoring at all. Wendy has some rather unique ideas.

I don't have Conti/Finkel, but I do have Wendy's course. I think it is a great course.
Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. Its reassuring to hear from someone whom has actually used the material and found it beneficial.
Which "course" of Wendy Pattons do you suggest? Is it a home study one, or attending a seminar?
Thanks again guys..

Thanks LeaseOptionKing,
Thanks for the tip. Which product would you suggest I start with. At this stage I have read 2 of Conti/Finkels books - that gives you an idea of where Im at in the "learning curve"

You just need her basic L/O Course to begin with.

Unless I'm looking in the wrong place, I don't see any of her complete Courses for sale here any longer. :(

I was a little confused which one to get, as there are about 6 different ones listed.
Any advice on which on is the most comprehensive?
Cheers,
Cool! I see everything is back up. I'd probably go for the $149 for Seller and $149 for Buyer in the very least. Or the comprehensive one (the one right before the boot camp).

Since you're new at the game, you could hook up with an R.E. club and'or be a birddog, help established investors find deals for a finder's fee, get your bearings, milk him/her for tips and info and experience, then strike out on your own. You'd probably be better served by getting your feet wet than spending lots of $$ (US or AUS) on training. You can prepare all you want--and it's usually not wasted time--but it's hard to learn this business until you jump in yourself.
Thank you John Locke and Loon......
Thanks for the link, John and....
Thanks for the advice, Loon
I understand there's nothing like hands on, and presently besides reading up on L/O, asking questions from folks like yourself, I am actually talking to FSBO's in the area. I don't have the script down well enough to convince, but atleast the folks I've spoken to are warm towards my presentation. That isn't making me money, but I feel more confident atleast.
Thank you All very Much!!!!
