Need Help finding escrow company to make payments
I have under contract a home with a land contract. The closing is next Friday and the seller wouldn't do the deal unless the mortgage payments were made through an escrow company. (i.e. I make payments into the escrow fund, the escrow fund pays the mortgage and sends the seller a check for any overage). I live in Atlanta, GA. Anyone know of a company or a place to look for a company that will offer this service on an extended basis. Everyone I've talked to will only handle escrow funds for the actual closing.
What you're looking for is a Loan Servicing Company. Look thru the yellow pages, try an internet search, and ask around (specificly to mortgage brokers, attorneys, etc.).
You can also call on some property management companies as they sometimes do this or might know of companies that do.
