Need Advice Please ON Quit Claim Deed
My Father and I have a piece of property together we are both on the deed. We wait to take his name off do we just file a Quit claim deed? If so what would I write in for the witnesseth they want a doolar amount but I am not giving him any money i already payed for the Property please Help Thanks 
the witness part is where the document is signed BY a notary public. As for the dollar amount I also write in TEN DOLLARS AND OTHER GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION.
