10, 15, Or 20% Down - Difference In Rate?
Will I get a better interest rate if I put down 20% on a 3 family property (besides PMI)? I have 750+ credit score and 3+ landlord experience with my current 3 family. I would move into the property thus get owner occupied financing. I want to buy a second one, but am trying to decide if I should wait till I have 20% down. I also suspect many banks will just say no period without 20% down.
Please ignore the value of low money down highly leveraged returns, which are great, but not a top goal of mine.
