Multi-entity Strategy?
Have any of you heard of this? An S corp owns 1 or more LLC's which own investement property. The property is then leased back to the S Corp. Is this the BEST way to protect assets and reduce tax liabilit? Any help would be aprreciated.
Sounds like a good question to bring up to your accountant.
What good would that entity strategy do?
I do agree with an inividual LLC for each rental property or other long term holds
I do agree with individual S-corps for flipping (rehabbing or otherwise)
I do not see the need to lese property to the s-corp which in turn subleases it to someone else....
