More Info On Tax Liens
I have heard about this in the past, but never got into it. Can anyone tell me where I can find more information about purchasing tax liens and finding properties that have tax liens without searching all of the county records. 
Best Recommendation: Contact the County Treasurer Office for the counties you are interested in. They will provide you (for free) information on dates, procedures, requirements etc. That will get you started. Once you have that info they will also be able to tell you when the lists of properties are published.
Secondary Approach: Various valued added services out there that will charge you money to find information about the counties, procedures, legal requirements, assistance with research, etc.
I'm not a fan of the secondary approach -- but it works for some people.
