Selling A Doublewide Quickly

My husband and I are selling our doublewide and buying a house. We need the money from our sale for our down payment. We would like to have a quick sale on it. is there anyway to ensure a quick sale?
or are there any places that buy doublewides for cash? i have found a couple of them but they are all out of state and we live in Missouri. Can anyone offer me any advice???

Thank you

    Sandykaltmayer,

    Glad to meet you.

Mobiles are a tough sell if you are trying to cash out. You will find the depreciation rate very high.

Depending if it is free and clear you have a chance to sell quickly probably for a lot less than you may want to take for it, what you haven't told us if it has a finance balance. If it does then how long have you owned it, what year is it, is it in a park or on it's own land.

These are factors that will help in determining how you should approach a sale.

Welcome on board this board, anything is possible, just the impossible takes a little longer.

Well it is all paid off. It is in a very nice park in Arnold Mo (20 min south of St Louis) It is a 2000 Fleetwood Highland Park Ltd. There are 3 bdrm and 2 bath. there is a walk in closet in the master bedroom. It is a 28 x 40. I know that I am really wishing for a miracle but our family of 4 have well just outgrown it.

    Sandykaltmayer,

Unless you bought this unit real right you are probably in for a big shock when you check it's value.

There are mobile buyers everywhere but as I said you will not get an offer for cash that you would consider very good.

I would call some mobile dealers in your area get some ball park figures of what they would offer. At least this will give you a figure as to what a quick sale will bring.

I have seen mobiles set for quite a long time when sold conventionally, however if you look at the creative way to sell so much down and you will carry the paper you will get full value for the unit.

Just some ideas for you to ponder.
