Is it possible to buy lots? What are prices like?Or what is the most someone has paid for one and what rent did it bring? Is it possible to buy lots from nice trailer parks as well as not so nice?
1) Buy a lot for yourself and place an older mobile home or new manufactured home on it? Yes ... that can be done. The lot just can not have CCR against manufactured homes or a specific sq ft minimum (more than manufactured homes can be built).
2) Buy land and develop a mobile home park? Yes ... that can be done but the land needs to be zoned by the county planning department for the use of mobile home park. And park development is very expenses !!

If you are talking about buying a lot already with a mobile home on it ... then that will be easy.
1) Get prequalified with a lender and have the lender provide you with written loan terms for buying a mobile home on land. Down $ ___ interest % ___ loan fees $ ___
2) Then if you can financial qualify ... then look in the paper for ads (with agents or FSBO), call agents on their ads.
3) What state do you live in? Because I have phone number for repo mobile homes and there are some on land. Go to my profile and see my website then go to my website. On the first page I have the states and the repo phone numbers for you to call.

I too am interested in purchasing mobile home lots (with or without trailers). However, I am struggling to find a list of individual lots that are owned by the MH resident. The local county auditor web site does not identify lots zoned for MHs separately and when I called the auditor they were not willing to help me find the info I am looking for. I'm assuming that traditional MH parks do not have individually owned lots (they are all owned by the park). Anybody have any ideas on how I can get my hands on this info?
What are you trying to accomplish?

I was thinking-
Buy a lot, either with a trailer on it or put a trailer on it and sell the trailer but collect lot rent from them as well.
