Mobile Home Subvision? Is It Worth It?
I don't know anything about investing in the MH arena but I was told that it could be lucrative. Some years ago here in GA some MH manufacturers were developing mobile home subdivisions. I have come across 10 acres of land that would have to be developed. I wanted to know if having a covented MH subdivision be more profitable or feasible than owning and renting a MH park? Which would be the wiser direction to take? :roll[ Edited by LittleL on Date 12/09/2003 ]
how much money do you have? and what is your experience? I never recommend getting into anything you know nothing about and can't find a mentor to hold your hand through the process.
If figure the odds are like daytrading, 95% are losers and 5% make money at it.
The trend here is definitely more towards MH subdivisions as apposed to rental parks.
But a lot would depend on the demand in your area. Talk to the MH dealers and see what their buyers are requesting.
Good luck !

Is the land zoned for MH? If not, you will have a very difficult time getting that zoning classification.
