Missouri Tax Sale Questions
Anybody know anything about Missouri tax sales? I saw in the paper today that there are some sales coming up in some surrounding counties next month and I'd like to go and check it out-mainly for the experience but if I can get prepared enough I may be going to invest. I've called the state and they referred me to the counties. So far calling the counties hasn't been that fruitful either. The county websites are useless in this matter. I do know that the list is coming out next Tuesday and where to get it at, I'm hoping there is some info there.
If anyone could start me out, either with info or point me where to look I would greatly appreciate it!

I'd suggest you do a search of the archives at this website, putting in "missouri," "mo," etc.
I also suggest you read the annotated statutes of MO on the topic of collection of delinquent property taxes.
And log onto and read treasurers'/tax collectors' websites, looking for their discussion of the tax lien sales and such like.

There are a few Missouri county collectors that provide tax sale info on the internet. Use search terms such as: Missouri, Tax Sale, Collector
Since Missouri law defines the process, it is almost always the same in each county. The collectors do have their own way of doing some things.
Here's one site I found:
