Minnesotan with lots of questions
Hi, I'm very new and fresh off the turnip truck, this is my first post. I paid $80 for Roy Stubblefield's info awhile back, though I've found his website (now losing traffic since he got sick) to be almost as good and it's free. It seems he sent me a generic, all-state package with a few diffs unique to MN. He says Minnesota hasn't offered tax liens since 1972, but I was reading the fine print from the Minn. R.E. code, and it seems that it could still happen, anyone have any clarification or experience? I'd be psyched if I could corner the market here, small as it is. I'm in a rural area of northern MN but everybody seems to be in the RE game here, and I can't find any deals at the tax sales, foreclosure auctions, etc. Any ideas? Am I the only Minnesotan out here? How can some of you folks wheel and deal in other states anyway, are you really high rollers or what?! Though I guess it's working, it sounds kinda reckless...is it? Any other tips for rural folks like me? Thanks!
