Medicaid Tax Lein, Alabama!
My neighbor over 65 has been admitted into the nursing home under medicaid. I understand that they have a lein on her property no children etc. to claim it. However it is really not worth anything plus it is a complete nusience, trash tires etc all over the place. My question is who do I contact to see about purchasing this property so I can clean this mess up. Alabama medicaid offices all have computer answered telephones. It is almost impossible to get a live person. Any help would be appreciated!
There should be a person that is responsible for authorizations for the nursing home. You can start there.
Next, I would cantact my local medicaid office and inquire about a number top a real person. Explain the situation and they may have a name.
