Mechanics Or Other Type Of Lien??
It seems that many people say that they have a house they can buy and a buyer to sell to but are unable to or do not want to do a double closing.
Would it be possible to simply record a lien of some sort for services rendered or such and then let the buyer and seller deal with each other? It would simply show up as a lien being paid off on the hud-1.
Thoughts? This isn't my area of expertise so I thought I would post it out there.
Yes you can do that. Forget about a mechanic's lien which not what you're seeking. A second mortgage will work just fine.
