Most banks won't even look at letters of intent, and neither will most realtors. Most aren't enforceable. I've been an agent for 21 years and I won't present them for my buyer clients or allow my sellers to accept them. If someone is serious about purchasing, they will take the time to write a contract. I have a lot of investors who do it this way.
