Does Anyone Know How To Implement A "check In The Mail" Campaign?
I heard it gets great response rates and I am trying to implement it but I need to get some more details from someone who has tried it.
Basically it is a mail in which the recipient gets a check and also a letter telling them that they should call you if they are ready to sell (something along that lines).
I am fascinated by the idea but I want some more details from someone who has actually implemented it, you input is highly desired.
Thanks

it seems like you have asked this same question in another forum and someone gave you the answer.
let me know if you need the thread so i can send it to you.
Maybe I am too much of a California, but it sounds illegal to me.
So many checks going out these days relating to the "Nigerian fraud"- where they send you a very good, cashable counterfet check on one pretext or another and you are supposed to cash it and send some percentage of the money to them. Then after a week or three you find out the check was bogus and you have to repay the bank.
I would think at this point people have become very leery of geting checks in the mail- it is going to make them more suspicious than anything.

i have done the check in the mail method...
got a red stamp made from copy max that said "CHECK ENCLOSED"
enclosed a check (a fake check obviously) for $500 in moving costs if i bought their house. you can play wih the offer. the lottery ticket one sounds like a good idea too.
worked well.
made someone angry...they called threatening to call the postal inspector and i got called a "hole in the wall company" lol oh well.
you title rep might generate that for you.
realquest and title companies will only have the data after the NOD is filed.
If you have a office (not home) you can get an account w/ the credit bureaus.
They would have data as early as 30-late.
