Car Signs
Has anyone had any success with advertising on the back windshield of their car? As long as you have slightly tinted windows and you are in alot of traffic, it seems like it should be effective. Any feedback would be helpful before I go and do this to my vehicle.
We have sign magnets on the side of our car and we get a 1-2 calls a week. We are working on an agreement to pay others a little per month to drive around with our signs on there cars. Just get you a catch phrase or tag www.line.This really helped us. Its branding and recognition. The more you put your name if front of others the better your chances.
Thanks

yeah im thinking about just buying a junker 500$ car for someone in need. but the catch is it will have my ad either painted or stickered all over it. that way you are doing a good deed and also getting your ad out there. it would be cheaper then my newspaper ads that never get calls.
the only thing i would be worried about it liability if someone is driving a car with your buisness ad on it, could you be liable if they get into an accident, even if there not an employee?[ Edited by ZinOrganization on Date 02/25/2005 ]
You always get a release of liablity for anyone driving with your info on there car. Proof of insurance is a must for your contract with them.Worse case..They are a contractor with thier own insurance.
Best to you
Sire
so what your saying that i would have to keep tabs on whomever i buy a car for to make sure they are carrying insurance. hmm. i cant see any guarantee that someone would. i mean they could always provide fake paper work, and it would be a pain for me to call ther insurance co. every week to make sure they are keeping it insured. and what if there not, i have to track them down and rip my sticker off?
there has to be a way around the liability issue.
Is wrote "worst case" senerio treat them like a contractor. Which they have to be insured, by contract. I just have a release of liablity for those who drive around with my signs. We only deal with magnetics on cars. We have never thought about buying a car and wraping it. yes i would be worried about someone hitting the(wrapped) car that I gave someone and being sued. If they can sue the maker of the car they can sue you.
Best to you

i have seen in the robbin thompson rehab videos, that when ever she does a job she parks this car out in front of the house. it is a beater of a car. its black with neon pink sticker letters going across the whole side of the car on both sides. really big! you could see it from a mile away. thats what i want to do just not the same color skeem lol. but i would rather have the car driving around town so more people would see it. i just dont like the liability issue of someone else driving. i probably wouldnt be the one driving it. lol.
Hi to all. I just got into REI and am very excited. Currently I work at home with a healthcare company and am making enough residual income doing that to start investing in real estate. Any ways, the first thing that I did for advertising with the health care co. Is put huge sticker letters on the back of my car, I maybe get 2-8 calls a month on it, but now because of the advertising 30% of my car payments are tax deductable. So think that there are always more than one reason for that sort of advertising
Jesse,
Did you just go to a detailing shop to get the lettering put on?
Sire,
You mentioned a tag line, or catchphrase, any more thoughts you would like to share on that?

Its just like mcDs, or Staples. A logo or catch phrase are dinky things people remember. We are working on a cartoon logo. The "We Buy Ugly Houses"guys have a cave man and there catch phrase. People remember pictures, logos and short phrases. make one and stick it on everything you have.
Thanks
