Market In Phoenix, AZ
I'm trying to learn as much about REI as possible and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the market in Phoenix looks like right now? Everywhere I turn there are bandit signs and ads. I need to focus on one avenue of RE and was hoping someone could let me know what is hot in PHX right now besides the weather.
Phoenix is a hot market. Though prices are up only modestly. There are rehabs out there, but I n my opinion they are selling for too much. Average time on the market out on the west side is only about 3-4 weeks in my experience.

The market is hot but not total runaway. A friend of mine from New York in bad health arrived and he is but tight. He bought a house after only a weeks search. Had me check it with a local appraiser who said the deal was good about $10,000 under market area correct. He bought is very happy. Hated Las Vegas not his cup of tea. But he is older more settled.
