Has anyone found software or a website that will allow you to enter a legal description and pull up a map, optimally have the "official" plat map displayed as well.
a title company should be able to do this for you. as part of issuing the title insurance policy, they 'draw' the property from the deed description to see if the property 'closes' . You don't get an official plat map with this - that would come from the court house.
Try deed-chek for software that plots the legal description. But this won't give you the official plat map.
try the county recorders office in the county where the property is located. they may have this info on -line, I can't imagine anybody else would

I asked my title rep, and she refered me to the county map which was attached.
Do you remember who you asked at the title company
Shortly after posting this, I found deed chek, which only ships a disk not d/l.
I'll try that as the have a 30-day money back deal.
I'm going to be gone for a week, and I wanted it sooner rather than later. Thanks.
